Proven Strategies to improve your life today

6 CRUCIAL THINGS TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE TODAY
1. Practice Gratitude every day. If we focus on everything we don’t have or compare ourselves to others, we will only attract more of the same. It is important to always be grateful for the simple things in life, like having the sight to read this, your other senses, a place to sleep, a computer, etc.
2. Get rid of everything that no longer serves you. Give it away, donate it, recycle it, or sell it. It’s important to make space in your life and your mind for good, useful things that inspire you and help you achieve your goals. Living in a space full of clutter only attracts disorder and prevents you from thinking clearly. This doesn’t just include your home, but also your office, your computer, your mind, and your relationships. What toxic thoughts do you need to let go of? Which people are draining your energy?
3. Learn to say NO. Several times in my life, I’ve had to pay the price for not being firm and not saying NO—perhaps out of fear of upsetting someone or fear that others might think I’m not a “good person.” You have to analyze yourself and realize what stops you from saying NO when you truly want to. Often, we let ourselves be talked into things by persistent people, only to regret it later. You will always encounter these types of people in life; just as they are firm in begging and asking, you must be firm in saying no without feeling guilty. Respecting your own decisions is part of healthy self-esteem.
4. Learn to forgive. Forgiveness is a gift to yourself. It doesn’t benefit others as much as it benefits you. Forgiving releases you from pain, anger, and the burden of the past so that it no longer affects your present or future. If you cannot or do not want to forgive, perhaps there is something you can do to ensure the person who hurt you compensates you in a “reasonable way” for the pain they caused.
5. Value yourself. You are special and important. You have a unique place in the universe and you exist because you have a mission in life. Never let anyone make you believe otherwise. You deserve to fight for what you truly want, and you also deserve optimal physical and mental health.
6. Learn to manage your time effectively and set priorities. There are only 24 hours in a day, so you might not always be able to do everything. Define what is truly important and what helps you achieve your goals and dreams. Make time for work, but also for relaxing, laughing, having fun, learning new things, exercising, etc. Take notice if there are things stealing your time that you could use for more meaningful activities. Time is a non-renewable resource, as we can never recover a lost minute. For this reason, your time is valuable, and you deserve to spend it on tasks that help you build a more fulfilling life
