Hypnosis for the Immune System and Allergies?
I suffer from mild allergies and it’s unpleasant no matter how mild they are. I think there are many things that we can do to strenghten our immune systems. Wearing a mask and washing your hands is important but the goverment has failed to mention the importance of boosting the immune system. With more possible pandemics to come, it’s wise to maintain a healthy weight or a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9, there are many online calculators to get your BMI, eat a healthy diet with 6- 10 servings of fruits and vegetables, drink enough water, reduce toxins and heavy metals in the environment and our food, quit smoking if possible, eliminate or reduce sugar and processed foods as much as possible, sleep 6-8 hours everyday, reduce stress and maintain a positive attitude in life and good relationships with others.
Visualization and Deep breathing are used during Hypnosis and this might help your immune system do the job it’s intended to do. Hypnosis can also help reduce stress, tension, both physical and mental, increase optimism and motivation to adopt healthy habits. Having to deal with this pandemic has been an interesting experience but one that might make us stronger and force us to take better care of ourselves. Maybe that’s the silver lining about it all!
