Hypnosis for Porn Habits
I was recently asked if I do hypnosis for porn habits like watching porn videos and movies. While some people do it once in a while, others do this as an urge that might almost seem an addiction. How do you know if you need to do something about it?
You need to ask yourself if it’s affecting your life:
- Is it affecting work, relationships or sleep?
- Is it affecting your concentration?
- Is it taking time out of your day that you could use to exercise, improve your mental and physical well-being or work on achieving your goals and dreams?
- Do you control it or does it control you?
For some this can be an embarrassing issue so most people don’t look for professional help. But the truth is that watching porn is just a bad habit like any other such as watching too much TV, gambling, shopping too much, playing too much computer games even like smoking or overeating. These habits are similar in the way that they usually start as an urge, a thought that won’t go away, a distraction that gives people a temporary feeling of pleasure and helps relieve stress, tension, anxiety, boredom, loneliness, sadness, etc.
