Happy New Year! Resilience in an uncertain world

ResilienceThis year 2020 has put to the test our stress coping, mental and emotional management skills. And it’s not over yet. Through history, we have faced challenges and overcome famine, disease, wars, etc. And somehow we made it and we are still here as humanity. We can’t control what happens outside ourselves but we can control how we react to it. By working on your mindset, you can deal better with the challenges ahead and make sure that you will protect your well-being both physical and mental.

These are confusing, frustrating times. It sucks, as our Prime Minister said. On the upside, you can use this time as motivation to resolve to eat healthier, quit bad habits, exercise and become more resilient. Improving your overall health and taking supplements like vitamin C and D are not things our government will advise people to do. But you need to be your own health advocate. If you work on your physical and mental well-being it will pay off in the short and long term.
